There are lots of ways you can manage your stress to reduce the impact it has on your life. Mindfulness techniques are proven to help reduce stress and can be used alongside talking based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). 

Ways that Mindfulness can help to reduce stress levels:

  1. Focus on one thing at a time
  2. Do more of what you enjoy
  3. Listen and be focused on what others are saying
  4. Live slowly and enjoy what you’re doing
  5. Enjoy nature
  6. Eat slowly and enjoy your food
  7. Do nothing for five minutes a day
  8. Focus on the present

If you need more support, CBT is a great way to help you feel less overwhelmed by breaking your problems down in to manageable parts.  CBT will help you to alter some of the negative ways in which you think and introduces some great relaxation techniques.
