About

Dr Odedra is a General Adult Psychiatrist with added endorsements in Liaison Psychiatry and Rehabilitation Psychiatry.

Dr Odedra has experience of working with individuals presenting with a wide range of mental health conditions from acute to rehabilitation, providing assessment and treatment.

Following a thorough initial assessment, Dr Odedra will develop a care plan with the individual and their GP/care provider. As well as recommending a treatment care plan, he can initiate and monitor medications for a wide range of mental health presentations including anxiety, mood disorders and psychosis. This is done in collaboration with the individual's GP. Psycho-education, psychological and lifestyle-based psycho-therapeutic approaches will also be considered where appropriate. These include psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural, and interpersonal based approaches.

Well experienced in ADHD diagnostic assessments and treatment pathways in the NHS and Private Clinic setting. He is also the lead psychiatrist for Veteran’s mental health services.

Dr Odedra has experience of facilitating psycho-education groups for bipolar affective disorders, non-epileptic attack disorders and chronic fatigue syndrome. He also has been a tutor for medical students and junior doctors.
