Dr Aashish Odedra

Clinical Experience
Dr Odedra is a General Adult Psychiatrist with added endorsements in Liaison Psychiatry and Rehabilitation Psychiatry.
Dr Odedra has experience of working with patients presenting with a wide range of mental health conditions from acute to rehabilitation, providing assessment and treatment.
Following a thorough initial assessment, Dr Odedra will develop a care plan with the patient and their GP/care provider. As well as recommending a treatment care plan, he can initiate and monitor medications for a wide range of mental health presentations including anxiety, mood disorders and psychosis. This is done in collaboration with the patient’s GP. Psycho-education, psychological and lifestyle-based psycho-therapeutic approaches will also be considered where appropriate. These include psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural, and interpersonal based approaches.
He has experience of facilitating psycho-education groups for Bipolar affective disorders, non-epileptic attack disorders and chronic fatigue syndrome. He also has been a tutor for medical students and junior doctors.
Qualifications
2019 – Certificate of completion of training (CCT) in General Adult Psychiatry, Liaison Psychiatry, Rehabilitation Psychiatry.
2016 – Membership of Royal College of Psychiatrists.
2008 – MUDr. Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic.
